I am trying to find information on a "John Batt ROLL" born in Norfolk approx 1788, possibly Ludham? He was married to Elizabeth (?nee CLIPPERTON)in 1811. He appears to end up in the east end of London by 1826 and his grandson was named "John Beevor ROLL" so I imagine that there is a link with the Beevor family somewhere.

Looking for any information on William Hargraves DAVEY, born about 1800 in Ludham, and married Phebe DAWSON, also of Ludham. Their son, Jacob, was born 20 May 1832 in Ludham, and went to New York, USA, early in adulthood. Jacob married Elizabeth Haylett, daughter of Samuel. She was born in Hasbro, Norfolk county. I would like to know more of this family, especially William and Phebe.

Gregory Palgrave died at Ludham in 1709 "aged about 60". His wife, Priscilla was mentioned in the Register when their son, Thomas, was baptised at Ludham in 1690/1. In 1714 Priscilla was admitted to a tenement formerly "Bells". Thomas became established in the area as a yeoman farmer buying land near Howe Hill in 1749 which remained in the family until 1906.

I have traced my family - on my Mother's side to Robert Myhill born Ludham probably 1737 - but I can find no trace of his christening here or in the surrounding villages. Can anyone help with this man - His marriage, children's christenings and his burial I have and all took place in Ludham.
