B ook on voyage to America, Burwood mariner
I've heard there is a book which tells the story of a Great Yarmouth vessel, narrated by its Captain. It discribes how one of the mariners: Charles Burwood (a 20-year-old) jumped off the coast of Uruguay around 1884. He was my greatgrandfather and I would appreciate info on the book: title, author or any other info. Thanks a lot.

I am looking for Royall ancestors from Norfolk. The two I know specifically are Elisha G. Royall who was born in Norwich in 1792(or possibly 1801! he obviously lied about his age on one of the censuses) and his son Joseph David Royall born in Great yarmouth 1824. Both of them moved to London but I cannot trace any of their roots in Norfolk. There seem to be quite a few Royalls in Norfolk so hoping someone can help.Elisha's wife may have been Matilda Meredith.
