red mail Parmer or Palmer, Maria born c1798
I am looking for the parents of Maria Parmer (possibly spelt Palmer) (born c1798), who married William Daines (born c1805) on 6 July 1824 at St. Saviors Church, Norwich, Norfolk, England. We think she was born in Great Ellingham. William Daines was a shoemaker, apparently born in Hingham but he does not appear in the Hingham church records. They had at least three children: William, Edward and Richard, whilst living at Crowes Yard, Norwich.

red mail Edwards
I am trying to trace information on Edith Miriam Edwards. She was the biological mother of my uncle who was adopted by my grandparents in 1938. His birth was registered as 10 November 1934 and the mother was Edith Miriam Edwards of Great Ellingham (General Domestic servant). No father was listed. My uncle was born in Cades Hill House in Attleborough (which I have found out was a home for unmarried girls to give birth, linked to Wayland Infirmary). If anyone has any more information I would be really grateful as I seem to have hit a dead end with my research!
