red mail Tarr or Ketteringham Family
Harriet Tarr (later married a Ketteringham June 1920) was a well-liked foster mother to my grandmother (a Barnardo's girl) from approximately September 1911 to August 1921, when my grandmother was then sent to Ontario, Canada. I also believe Ms. Tarr may have had a relative living in Galt, Ontario, as my grandmother (domestic worker on an Ontario farm) went to Galt at one time to visit someone related to Ms. Tarr. Any information appreciated to assist in my research of her life before leaving the UK. Thank you.
