Any info on the Ashby family living in and around the Ashill area 1750 to 1960s
I am researching George Blizzard (b. 1811 in Ashill) and his wife Phoebe (nee Blake) and their family who immigrated to Australia in 1857. They had 12 children that I am aware of. Would like to know the ancestral line of both George and Phoebe and also their descendants.

John Chilvers b. 1772 married Ann Gilly GEE at Saham Toney in 1798, lived in ASHILL for most of married life. Father of Ann was church verger(?) at Saham for many years. No record (reliable) found for John BUT believed to have been son of Robert Chilvers and Mary George, who married at Watton, Norfolk. All help to break down "wall" would be of great help.

Jonathan and Elizabeth Langley b 1826. Jonathan was from Heston Middlesex and Elizabeth from Ashill Norfolk. They had 2 children also John and Elizabeth. They were married and worked at a big house in Hereford Gardens London. They are there in 1871, 1881 and 1891. We know that a relation of ours worked there and wonder if there is a family connection as he was from Ashill as well. Anyone know more about the Langleys or Elizabeth's maiden name?

Anyone got any info on the Ellis family from Ashill? My Grandfather was Frederick Ellis born Ashill 1871. He was a butler / chauffeur and worked in various places. We think he worked in London in 1891 but would like to find out more. He was married in Cheltenham in 1914.
