red mail Sarah Jones (1875) - Carno
I am trying to find more information about a Sarah Jones who was born in Carno in about 1875. I have an old family photo showing her with her parents and on the reverse is written "Sarah Jones (back left) - Jones the Undertaker, Carno". The family group is posed outside a good looking cottage and the father (seated) appears to be holding a bible. Sarah Jones was my great-grandmother and married a William Hamer. From searching census records, I can see that there were several possible Sarah jones' in Carno, so really, the corroboration I am seeking is the link to the undertaker's family!
