Henry William Samuel was born around 1875 in Newport or Cardiff..He had possibly 6 children, my Grandmother Violet (1910)among them.Am trying to discover what became of him. I believe his 1st wife was Lillian Pope, but I may be mistaken. Wish I had asked more questions when Nan was around.He kept a trotting horse for racing and I believe his father was a bootmaker in Newport. From his army days, I know nothing except he was based at one time in Aldershot. Perhaps he met his 2nd wife there, or maybe Cardiff .Have been unsuccessful finding him in the Army records as I do not have factual information. Would be very grateful for advice about how to find out more
