red mail Walter Williams 1852 mothers maiden name on civil registration listed as LEWIS.
He married Ann Davies in September 1870 in Bedwellty. His children were Daniel Leyshon Williams 1871 (civil registration has him as Lishion Daniel Williams mother Davies), Aaron Williams 1878, John Emlyn Williams 1881, Maggie E Williams 1884, Blodwen Williams 1887, Mary Leyshon Williams 1890, Gladys Williams 1890, Leyshon Davies Williams 1892, Leyshon Gomer Williams 1898. My ancestor is Daniel Leyshon Williams 1871 who marries a Polly Pugsley. Clearly either Walter or Ann have family with the last name Leyshon or its Welsh version LLEICION. The constant use of it in the childrens names tells us that much. Nevertheless Walters mothers name is Lewis and cant locate Ann Davies or rather can locate a lot but dont know which one is her. If anyone could please find who the Williams- Lewis marriage are that would be great thankyou!
