red mail Mary Ann Dutton
On the 1881 census, 4 year old Mary Ann Dutton - born in Abergavenny - is noted as the granddaughter of David Tanner and Fanny Tanner (nee Sargeant). Daughter 20 year old Jane is also listed. The Tanner's children (all born in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire) are: Mary Maria born 1844 bapt 13/10/1844 Euphemia born 1846 bapt 22/2/1846 married 26/09/1863 died 16/07/1908 - married William Thomas Limbrick Susanna born 1848 bapt 06/08/1848, death 1851 aged 3 Clara Fanny born 1853 bapt 26/08/1855 Eliza Susan born 1854 , death 1855 in infancy Ann Smith born 1855 bapt 26/08/1855 David Samuel born 1856 bapt 06/09/1857, death 1858 aged 10 Emma Matilda born 1859 Jane Ellen born 1861, married Henry Hawkins 1882 in Abergavenny, buried 30/01/1922 Nantyglo Ann Rosabell born 1863. I'm trying to find any records which may show which daughter gave birth to Mary Ann Dutton, can't find any record of a marriage of a Tanner to a Dutton nor a birth record for Mary Ann. Mary Ann's marriage record has the father being John Dutton, no luck there either.
