I'm trying to trace the parents of William Cumming and Margaret Aimslie who were married on December 6th 1833,at North Leith Parish Church. They lived in Corstorphine, Midlothian where William was a Master Boot and Shoemaker.They had James (b.1837) Elizabeth, William,Thomas and Margaret. James married Jane Dunn on August 16th 1861. Jane was the daughter of James Dunn a Master Baker of Corstorphine. Jane's maternal Grandfather was Alexander Simpson, the schoolmaster in Corstorphine from 1812 to 1848. If anyone has any information I would be glad to exchange notes.
