red mail Kerry/Kerrey - (Northolt - Middlesex)
My great/great grandfather, Peter Phillips Kerrey, was buried in Northolt churchyard in 1890, recorded as being 'formerly of this parish'. I have traced his life from his Essex birth to Kent, to Pimlico, to his death in Bloomsbury but, although I knew his wife, Elizabeth Herbert, came from Northolt, I thought they had met elsewhere and was unaware that he had spent any time in Northolt. A daughter of theirs was buried in Northolt in the 1870s when they were living in Pimlico. Does anyone have any info on his earlier connections with this parish??

red mail Henry Bushell Old Street & Woodford - (Old Street - Middlesex)
Hi, I am trying to find out more information on A Henry Bushell born 1818 Old Street area(Middlesex) to see whether it could be the same Henry transported to Bermuda on a 15 year sentence in 1846 for forgery. I am also wondering whether there is any connection to Henry kind of vanishing from Woodford, Essex around the same period. The Henry Bushell that I am following marries an Elizabeth Chumbley in 1838 Stratford/Bow and then appeared to have children in St Lukes Middlesex and then Elizabeth ended up in Woodford (her birthplace) and lived with a Henry Saveall. Elizabeth and H Saveall appeared to have children (based on dates but no marriage) however George's birth certificate states George's father as Henry Bushell only reported by Elizabeth the mother and not Henry Bushell. Henry is not stated as deceased. In the 1851 census Elizabeth is living with Henry Saveall classed as wife with her sons from Henry Bushell stated as Sons In Law (too young so must be step sons) but why in that case on George's birth cert in 1855, where it clearly states the mother as being formerly Elizabeth Chumbley, has she put Henry Bushell down as father when she is supposedly married to Henry Saveall. I am either being a bit dense and this is obvious or there is a real mystery here. I am thinking, but perhaps wrongly so, if H Bushell is not deceased then he must have just vanished or received a conviction so is the Henry transported our guy??? I am very confused, can anyone help my sanity here please?
