(Rippingham Grange SS, 5790t (built 1898) of Houlder Bros, London. 26.6.1910 Suez - Thursday Island - Townsville 16.4.1910:/Coolum Beach, Qld) George his wife Eleanor, daughter Ellen and neice Nellie were nominated by Alfred Watts Olletts they lived at Nth Eton. (Alfred Watts Ollett son of Alfred Ollett & Charlotte Watts married 25 August 1902 to Jane Frier Mather) Alfred came to Australia on the Jumna 2 May 1890) I would love to hear from anyone connected to these families.

My Great Great Grand-father was Thomas Gregory born 27 November 1837. Thomaswas married to Jane Surman on 18th March 1862 at St John's Church Paddington Middlesex. They had the following children George Gregory born 17 May 1864 Kent Lane, Harrow, Marth born 1865, Eliza born 1867, Jane born 1870, Henry Stephen born 1872, Annie born 1874 married William J Lander, Arthur born 1876, Ellen born 1878 and Frederick born 1880. George married Eleanor Harvey 9 April 1882 at St Luke Kilburn Paddington England and came to Australia on the Rippingham Grange arriving 17 October 1910and settled in Mackay Queensland. Their daughter Ethel Maud Gregory married James Cowan, their son Robert George Cowan married Mary Phyllis Brown who were my parents. I would like to hear from any of George's brothers or sisters descendants!

John Alfred Catling
I have posted an entry in "Tottenham" as well. I am looking for John Alfred Catling (Printer's Compositor), son of Percy (Railway Ticket Inspector), who lived at 105 Langham Road, Tottenham, N15 in the 1940s. John was a Rifleman in the King's Royal Rifle Corps (60th Division) in WW2. If still alive, John would be 81/82. I am desperate to contact either him or any of his decendants, so any help greatly appreciated.

looking for Alfred Emanuel MONTARA....father was Domingo MONTARA and mother was Harriet BARRACLOUGH. Domingo and Harriet were publicans in London, Middlesex. Alfred MONTARA came to Queensland, Australia approx 1882 (?) and married here. Alfred waslisted as a seaman in 1881 Census. Living at 61 Rhodeswell Road, Limehouse. London. Cooke George
George Cooke married Lydia Halliday on 1.11.1860 at the Register Office at St. Pancras. I am unable to get back further because he was born before 1837 and I cannot find either him or his wife in the 1881 census and his place of birth is obliteratedby ink in the 1861 census. Any help appreciated.
