can anyone in the ashford area can help with some information about james gannon he lived in cumberland road he died 13th may 1944 .he was an air raid precaution warden in ww11 he was from dublin ireland ,does anyone know the names of the wardens in the ashford area at that time,would james gannon be on it .or would anyone hold an old picture of the warden,s from ashford ,or anyone that can tell me were i would information on the ARP from ashford please let me know ,

I have the birth certificate for Elizabeth Wooderson born 12 Nov 1842 Stanwell. Father Frederick Wooderson b.1811 Bedfont, mother Mary Groves (Grooves) b.1816 Harmondsworth - they didn't marry until 5 Feb 1844. However, for some reason, when Elizabeth Wooderson marries William Hyman 9 Oct 1859, she uses her mother's maiden name and no father's name is on the marriage certificate. Anyone with any links to these two families?

I've located an Emanuel T Slade born in Pangbourne, Berks. who died in Staines, Middlesex and an Hannah Slade who also died in Staines, Middlesex. Can anyone shed any light on whether these two are one of the same?
