I am looking for any information on the family of Alfred James (AJ) Lynch and his wife Sarah. He was my great great grandfather and his son Alfred (my great grandfather) emigrated to Canada in the early 1900's with wife Emma and 3 children. AJ had a sister listed as Rola, and his parents listed as John and Ann Lynch. He was born in 1852. I am trying to research when the Lynch family went to England, and where in Ireland the family was from.

Since 2002 I keep returning to my Great Uncle Albert COOPER born April 1879 Denmark St. Mother Elizabeth Cooper (Crowder) Father Joseph COOPER. I have a death cert for Albert. Jan 1934 informant Elizabeth Cooper widow of deceased. my late Aunt remembered him and the details on cert are correct. My problem is that I cannot find a correct marriage have an incorrect cert, also on census they have a son William E? again wrong certs obtained. They seem to be living his brother in law and wife. again cannot find them. Any help greatly appreciated 1901 census( RG13 piece 313 Folio 83 page 44 Conroy Croft. Head Helen . do Wife Albert Cooper. Looking for relatives who lived in the Deptford/Rotherhithe region and across the Thames in the Wapping area. Specifically, I am looking for a T.Tippett who married a (female) Knight, who was probably the daughter of Ambrose Knight, the son of John Knight who ran the Knight's Soap and Candle factory in Silvertown. The names of the children from the Tippett marriage were John Knight, Elizabeth, George, Marie, Sarah, William, Jane (who married my great grandfather James W. England). Also trying to get details about my maternal grandmother's family Giles. She had 7 siblings - Arthur, Rose, Kate, Clara, Florence, Nell and Tom, but I can find nothing about her parents and predecessors. Any help would be welcome. Will gladly share info.

Henry Charles Dobinson LINDSAY born c1840, married Petronella Sophia Brasier VAN WYCK on 28 October 1857. In the 1861 Census they were living in St Geo in the East - he was an optician. I can find no trace of them in the 1871 Census, but in 1881 Petronella was living with her brother in law William HOPWOOD and was with him until her death in 1903. I would be interested to find out what happened to her husband Henry LINDSAY or her sister Eliza Brasier HOPWOOD.

Im trying to trace Anns parents i know her mothers name was Elizabeth Wright born Wapping and her father was Joseph Wright Johnson, i dont know where he was born, all i know is that he was a mariner. I think Elizabeths fathers name was Samuel (not 100% sure If anyone has any information on Joseph or Elizabeth i would really appreciate it as at the moment i have hit a wall.

The odd thing about this is that on the marriage certs she has THOMAS WALPOLE and JOSEPH WALPOLE down as her father's? witnesses Thomas Hayes & Mary Ann Palmer all these marriages state only of full age so of less help in finding Hannah's George & James parents or where they come from. In 1863 I have a John George Peel, publican whose daughter Harriet Finimold, widow of 19 married a John William Lander, son of John William Engehard Lander, gunmaker. Their residence was 14 Christian Street and the marriage took place at St Matthew Pell, St George in the East. I would love to know something about John Peel the publican and his daughter Harriet or other siblings. I cannot find this Peel family in any records. There was another Peele family but the father John was a Master Mariner and not connected.

Timothy Snr worked as a stevador in the docks. Ellen also born Ireland think from Skibbereen Nr Cork abt 1832. Timothy Jnr worked at the docks as A labourer. Margaret married a William Ford 1899 moved to Erith Kent. 1881 and 1891 They lived Annes Road nr the docks. They had another daughter Nora or Honora she married a Alber Barrett and lived with her parents. 1901 Honorah had died and her husband still lived with his in laws and his children.

I am trying to find out about my Gt Grandmother whose christian names were ANN CATHERINE. I cannot find any records of her birth, nor any records of her parents. According to each Census following her marriage (in 1874 in Bethnal Green) to Thomas DAWSON, she was born in St. George in the East c 1854/7. Her father was John, who was deceased at the time of her marriage. Her Marriage Certificate says that she was ANN MORGATE but every Birth Certificate of her children has a slightly different version of her maiden name - Moldgate/Maldgate/Molegate Her children were John Jesse, Ada Adalaide, Ann, Caroline and Sarah. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I have been searching my family history and found that my Grandfather's father was one George Croft a German sugar baker. My Grandfather was born in 1872 in St. George in the East.
