am trying to trace Alexander Pratt ancestors, his wife may have been called anita, Alexander ran a butchers shop in ruislip, they had several children Eric (my grandfather) Stanley, Doris and possibly more. Eric married a Josephine May they had 5 children + 1 who died as a baby. Anita, Marie, Donald, Dennis and leonard. Alexanders fathers name may have been John Canning.

In the 1841 census for Ruislip/Eastcott I found James TEMPLE c1781, wife Eliza c1876, Charles c1826, Frederick c1829, Celia 1831, Thomas 1833,George 1835, Elizabeth 1839. Given the age difference between adults and children I figure either there are older children or they are the grandparents of these children. Does anyone have information on the church records needed?
