red mail William Stephen Hoare and John Henry Hoare
Any information on William Stephen Hoare (bn 1832 Sladebridge, Cornwall) and his son John Henry Hoare (bn 1852, Cornwall), and William's second family, including wife Sarah, from Dumfries, and possible children Henry (bn c. 1866, Pimlico) and Lilian Grace (bn 1872). William and Sarah living in Pimlico in 1871. William died Dumfries 1880, and probate granted to a creditor in 1881. Last known address, before death, 12 Charlwood Place, Pimlico. No trace found of William's first wife Susan Jane Bray after 1852. John Henry not resident with father at date of 1871 census. No record yet found of William's second marriage. He was probably a builder at end of life, and probable bankruptcy notice found, so life probably "fell apart". Thank you

red mail William Noble
My great grandfather William John Noble was married to my great grandmother Elizabeth Casbolt on 08/11/1864 in St Peter Pimlico. The marriage certificate gives his occupation as plasterer and his father's name was also William John Noble. The 1871 census gives his birthplace as Pimlico, whereas in 1881 it is given as Litchfield! His ages in both cases suggest a birth year of about 1840, but his age at death in 1883 was given as only 40, implying a birth year of 1843. I can find no record of him before his marriage in 1864. The wandering birth place does not help! Does anyone know anything about him?

Looking for any info on this lady, I can find her on census as Rosina Colley in the 1881, 1891 & 1901 but prior to that it seems that she has dissapeared! I did get the birth cert for Rosina but there seems to be some dispute as to wether or not this is the correct one! she was born in Pimlico London in 1855/56, married Charles Stanley Clifford Colley on 13th May 1875, her father is noted as William Williams although I have not been able to locate him on any census! her marriage cert was witnessed by Richard and Ann Lomath I wondered if Ann may be her sister, but again no luck, Rosina died on 26th November 1931 in Beckenham..... any help on this matter would be gratefully recieved as I seem to have hit a dead end.

I also know she was domestic servant in the 1880/90's and for most of her childhood lived with Charles Newman and his family.
