I am looking for relatives and descendants of Richard Edward Bourne.His father Frederick was a road builder and coach operator in county Meath in the early 1800's.He later built the town of Ashbourne where Richard and his siblings were born. On 3rd June 1856 at St.Thomas's Church,Dublin Richard married Isabella(Elizabeth) Mangan,daughter of Thomas Mangan,Esq.,of Piercetown-house,county Kildare.Their eldest son,Thomas Mangin Bourne(my grandfather) was born at Hunt House,Ashbourne around 1857.He became a Barister at Law,as was his father and his father inlaw.I am trying to locate and contact any other descendants of the Bourne family of Ashbourne,Meath county. Frederick Bourne owned and lived at Terenure House from 1806-1857.This is now a college and a fine church which was built in 1958.

Looking for information about Michael(about 1855) and his brother Patrick (1848. The brothers emigrated to Halliwell, Lancashire and were both living next door to each other and working as Brickmakers in 1881. Both married Irish girls, Michael married a Mary Ann and Patrick married Ann. I beleive there were other siblings. Michael is my great grandfather and in 1891 had moved to Iron St. Cleckheaton, Yorkshire. I have information about their children and Patrick's children but am having trouble tracing ancestry in Ireland. Both were born in Athboy. Any contact would be appreciated. They had large families, a lot of female offspring.

Catherine married Laughlin Carolan(b1796) and they produced 6 children; Mary, Phillip (1825-1867), Catherine (1832-1908), Ellen 1834-1905), John (1835-1918) and my gg grandmother, Bridget b1827. Bridget married Patrick (Paterick)Walsh in 1856 and they later emmigrated to the USA, settling in Grundy Co. Illinois. Any blanks that can be filled in, especially the first wife of Thomas McEntegart, would be appreciated.

Thomas and Eliza Sullivan lived in Slane between 1 July 1868 and 1 July 1875, when it was his posting as a Head Constable in the Royal Irish Constabulary; until 1871 they were probably accompanied by their son Patrick Joseph. They subsequently retired to Rathfriland in Co. Down. I cannot find rating valuation records, and assume they lived in the police barrack. Any information welcome.

Especially interested in any details regarding MARY (a.k.a KATE) McFADDEN. Her parents THOMAS and CATHERINE McFADDEN were living in DERRY in 1859.

Ann Moran(or Mooran)was convicted of political offences in 1797 in Trim. From what I can gather this was to do with the "Late Rebellion". She was held in prison until transported to NSW, Australia in 1802, on board the "Hercules", which was carrying the first hundred Irish female convicts to be sent to Australia. She was assigned to work for John Curtis, also a convict. They eventually married and had 5 children, although not in that order. She died in 1832. I am interested in any information about her family and/or her life.
