red mail Kellys or Connells
Still trying to trace some of my grandfathers siblings that emigrated to the Chicago area between 1910-1928. Mary T (or Beatrice?) apparently married a Kelly (also orignally irish) William who was a Police officer in Chicago-they had several kids-including twins (from what the census says. Patrick Kelly was a Fireman-died in 1947-not sure if it was fire/work related but he was only in his late 40s. John Kelly was born around 1905/1906-was a Plumber-maybe had his own business in Chicago-married-think he had just one daughter who was disabled and died young. Any info gratefully received! Other siblings were Martin, Bridget (Bridie) Applegate Anne (Annie/Anna) Gormally, Thomas and an Aunt called Jane Connell. Parents were James Kelly and Bridget Connell-from Kiltimagh.
