Require information on CATHERINE BRENNAN married to WILLIAM McCormack, both of Abbeyshrule.... (formerly Carrickedmand), Co Longford. They had a son THOMAS Joseph McCormack, b. 21/02/1838. I'm searching for all dates connected with them, as well as parents, occupations, etc......Thomas emmigrated to Australia where he met and married SUSAN Clare McMahon of Killadysert, Co Clare, on 5th May, 1869. Susan was born in 1843. They had 8 children, the 7th of which was THOMAS b.1882, in turn his son, NOEL George McCormack, was born in 1915, and his son, JOHN was born in 1943. Any, all information will be very gratefully received.

Seeking information on parentage of Anna Moffatt and Joseph Coulston, married 1804 in Kilashe, Co. Longford. Both were from Barne Townland, Mostrim Parish, Co. Longford. They were Protestants, but don't know which denomination. Joseph appeared to be a Baronial Constable at one time. They had a son Henry and a daughter Jane, and later the family emigrated to Maine, USA, probably via New Brunswick, Canada.

Im looking to trace my mothers family tree - Margaret Marie Francis Taylor. B.30th April 1932 Newcastle, C. Wexford. She came to England around the age of 14 having lived in Ballymahon,Co. Longford for some years. Her fathers name may have been James, mothers name unknown and she had four siblings; Edward, John, Elisabeth (Betty) and Maureen. My grandparents were still living there until their deaths in May and October 1975(or 76?) respectively. Any information would be most appreciated.

I am serching for any info regarding James Tirrell, married to Julia nee Kearney (Carney),possibly of Ballymahon. Son Michael born 1822-1825. Michael emigrated to US in 1838. Lived in Roxbury, Massachusetts. Brothers who also emigrated were Martin, John and Patrick. Patrick served in the military at Carisbrooke and lists his birthplace as Ballymahon Longford. It is the only reference I have to a specific place of birth for this family. So any info from any area would be greatly appreciated.

Son John Heavy b. 1811 immigrated to New Brunswick, Canada on the Brig Breeze 1834; then to New York where he opened a bank account with Emigrant Savings Bank, complete with genealogical treasure. James' wife Margaret McGrath died and was buried at sea; James Heavy immigrated to New York, where he worked as a cartman. Two sisters immigrated to Boston: Mary Heavy married James Byrne, 1848; Ellen M.J. Heavy married Patrick McAleer, 1849. Patrick was very sucessful carpenter and and had many descendants. I am looking for information regarding Peter Nolan, born at Edgeworthstown 22 May 1941 and moved to Yorkshire, marrying my grandma Rita Kenny (maiden name Flannagan) on 20 May 1972.
