Notes for William CHESEBROUGH: "William (Cheesbrough) Chesebrough, the first settler of English lineage in the town of Stonington, Connecticut, USAwas born in England in the year of our Lord, 1594. The place of his nativity and the names of his parents cannot with certainty be determined.
