Would like to hear from anyone with information about the Woods -Bray Family who lived in and around the Spilsby area. Henry Woods was my Greatgrand Father he married Ann (Annie) Bray. they had at least 8 children. I would be interested in any information on one of their sons William and their daughter Kezia who married a Mr. Henry Horry. The family also may have lived in Thorpe St.Peter at some stage.

I am looking for relativis of the Horry family from Spilsby. My great grandmother was Susannah Hurry and was born in Halton Holegate in 1888 - she had various brothers and sisters. Susanna came to Hull married a George Fisher - and had a daughter Daisy Fisher (my grandmother) My Grandmother did come over to see her cousins in Spilsby - and so did my father. It would be lovely to seek relatives of the Horry family - and I would love to here from anyone who knows of the Horry family

Does anyone have any information about the Green Family living in Spilsby prior to 1916. I have tracked my grandmothers birth to the village in 1916 and have found out that her mothers maiden name was Panton possibly with the christian name Annie. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

John Badley married Mary Johnson in 1788 - oldest Badley i can find. need to find where John came from in Lincs. There was a John Badley born in Withern 1760 - that would make him 28 if he was the one who married Mary Johnson. At present i have no way of proving these 2 are the same. If I could find out what happened to John Badley from Withern this would be a help.

My g-grandfather John Rodney WAITE was born in Lincoln in 1903. His paternal line was John Thomas, John, Edward, Stephen (born c1780). All of them bar John Rodney were born in or near Langton by Spilsby. John Thomas married Alice Moore (a second wife was Hannah Catherine?). John married Hannah Maria Starmer. Edward married Susan ?. Stephen married Elizabeth ?. The wives came from places such as Thoresby, Candlesby, Mavis Enderby. If this means anything to you please get in touch! Regards, William
