Does anyone have any information on the Willoughby family or on the village of Silk Willoughby? As well as being a village near Sleaford, Silk Willoughby is the name of a man in my tree, b 1826 Lincolnshire d 1872 Lincoln. Parents John and Anne, wife Mary, daughter Sarah, siblings Henry, Elizabeth, Hezekiah, Abi, Ruth. It seems likely that the family may have originated in Silkby or Willoughby, which were both ancient manors. Abi Willoughby married Robert Willcock.
