red mail Hextall, (W)Ragg and Windridge families of Sutton Cheney
Trying to trace the antecedents of George Hextall (c1813), Ann Windridge (c1823) and Ann Sands Ragg or Wragg (c1834). I have possible fathers names but no details of their mothers or their grandparents. It's possible that the Sands family feature somewhere in the (W)Ragg family history - see Ann's middle name.
red mail Bagnalls
A Fabria Bagnall has appeared in my family search. Her name is quite unusual and I wondered if anyone researching the Bagnall family has come across her.To me she would be a cousin many times removed.

Sands Family originating from Sutton Cheney
We have an oil painting of Lowestoft harbour by Harry Horsfall Sands (b 21 Jun 1864, d 26 Sep 1901). Harry's father was Joseph Walker Sands (b 1836) who married Ann Hephzipa Parker (daughter of Timothy Parker, goldmsmith of Birmingham)on 29 Jun 1857. Timothy emigrated to the USA in the early 1860s and was a stretcher bearer in the civil war. Joseph's father was a John Sands - possibly the one who married Ann Horsfall in 1820 as noted on this site by R.W. Kendell. If any member of the family would like a jpg picture of the painting or some further details of the family, please contact me. Robert

William & Ann Sands, born in the middle of the C18 had a large family, many of whom moved to Nuneaton at the beginning of the C19. John Sands, born in c1799 was my ggg grandfather. He married an Ann Horsfall in Nuneaton in 1820. I should be very happy to hear from any other descendants.
