My grandmother LIZZIE COLEY was born in 1897 in Swinton. As a young woman she was a very good swimmer (at Swinton Baths) and also taught swimming to children. I am not sure if this was when she was LIZZIE CHAPMAN or after her marriage as LIZZIE COLEY. I have photos of her with cups and rose bowls but know nothing of this part of her young life. Can anyone enlighten me? Can anyone look through newspapers for me? I would be very grateful for any assistance. P.S.Surprisingly - I hate swimming! Regards and thanks. Carole
