He married Ann BARLOW on 7 Dec 1828 in Manchester Cathedral.That is his birthdate and place of birth as stated in 1861 census. I cannot find him in the earlier census and he died in 1869. Looking for information on Thomas Sharples born c1808, Wife? Bridget Smith born c1821. They have four children Mary born c1845, James born c1848, Thomas born 1855, (my great grand father), and Peter born c1861. This information was obtained from 1861 census all residing in Chapel Street Pendleton and from my great grandfathers birth certificate. I can find no trace of a marriage between Thomas and Bridget. I am looking for relatives of John Hollorn and his wife Brigette (nee Kelly) John was born at 39 Bierly Street, Pendleton in 1896. When married he lived at Holland Street, Pendleton. He died in 1926 at Stott Lane Salford. Brigette was born in 1895. She died in 1925 at Stott Lane, Salford. They left two children orphans, one being my father, Joseph Hollorn, born 1919 at 4 Diamond Street and William Hollorn born 1922. Johns sister Mary Smith of 16 Cobden Street? signed johns death certificate. Is there ayone out there who can help?
Do you have any information on my ancestors? William Ambridge m. Elizabeth Cawley in 1911, Elizabeth had a sister, Edith who married a Mr Wilson, the youngest sister, Lucy married William Ambridge's brother Harry Ambridge. The families latterly lived in the Seedley area of Salford in the 1950's. William & Elizabeth had, their only child, Sybil in 1912. Sybil married James Gilbert Booth in 1934, James 'Jimmy' to his friends, lived in Weaste, he died in 1942 in active service in Malta. I would love to find information on James Gilbert's parents, I believe his father was also called James Gilbert. Please can you help?

Have found more details of Charles Thomas RINGROSE, born 28 June 1835 in Pendleton, Lancs. His parentage, with origins in Naseby, Northants, has now been established, related to Mastin, among other names, and we now have more information. His wife Ann Marshall, was born c.1834 in India, and first married Stephen Shuttlewood in Bengal in 1849, before the marriage in Bengal in 1855. His sister, Sarah Elizabeth RINGROSE, married 1856 in Leicester to Frederich HEADLEY, 4 children born in Leicester 1860-69.
