red mail Hornby / Porter
My 2 x great grandfather's sister Mary Hornby b. c. 1814 in Out Rawcliffe married John Porter 28/11/1843 - he was around 10 years younger than her, possibly from Singleton and, in 1851 was a farmer of 112 acres. They had at least 3 children but then the trail goes cold for the whole family. I think John's father was William, but I can't trace anything here either. Is anyone else connected to this family?
