I'm looking for information about JAMES BLACKHURST who was born in Longton about 1778, married BETTY CUNCLIFFE (also born in Longton, possibily 1778-1781) on 1 September 1801 at Penwortham, and subsequently had 8 children in the Longton/Penwortham area (Margaret, Henry, Michael, John, Henry, Henry, Elizabeth and James) between 1801 and 1827. I'm struggling to find any further information about James or Betty other than their children and their wedding day. Help!
red mail Harrison Family
In 1901 the Harrison family lived in Longton (actually several by that name I think). Father was something to do with brewing and there were 2 sons and a daughter. Eldest son Herbert (born 1886) went into service. 2nd son Giles seems to have been a tailor. Can anyone add any detail of what happened to the family after 1911.
