red mail Little Lever, Darcy Lever, Ainsworth
I have masses of information about the descendants of Thomas KIRKPATRICK - sometimes shown as PATRICK (b Cumberland 1767) who came to this district with his wife Isabel GARGATE and their first two sons John and William in the mid 1790s. They had further children here, in the Bolton area; Thomas in 1797, Roger 1800, George 1802, Joseph 1805, Jacob 1808, Henry 1810, Mary 1813, Jonathan 1816, and Isaac 1819. At my last stock-taking there were more than 70 grand children. Of course, most of the men were colliers. Thomas was my 3x great grand father. DO YOU FIT THIS FAMILY? I should be able to take you back to 1670 or thereabouts.
