I am researching the HEGGIE mob who began a trek down the west coast, starting with ROBERT HEGGIE who married MARGARET MASON in Glasgow (Cowcaddens) in 1850. Hi, I am trying to find out more about Richard DARRELL. Acccording to his marriage certificate in 1902, when he married Sarah Ellen MOSS, his birth was about 1878, his occupation was Sergeant (and what looks like 2nd Liporl), His father's name is also shown as Richard a joiner. Richard (the younger)married in Great Sankey, Lancashire, England. I have been unable to find him on any of the English censuses . I know that he taught Gymnastics at the Rossall School in Lancashire from at least 1919 to 1939. Family members also think he was in the Black Watch regiment. Any help appreciated. Regards Maureen
