John Palin I believe married Sarah Jervis. I am trying to ascertain what happened to some of their children:- William 1834, Susannah 1836, Charlotte 1838, Samuel 1840, Elizabeth 1849, I believe 2 other children were married, Thomas(1843-1892) to Mary Hooley and John (1845 - 1908) to Amelia Hallworth I am having problems with the other 5. The varying spellings of names does not help!! Many thanks for any information as regards spouses, children, deaths etc

I am trying to locate any relatives of Arthur Wood,b Droylsden 1897, the son of Joseph and Hannah Wood.(nee Halliwell) Arthur had several brothers and sisters including Florence (Florrie), who was my wife's mother. WE believe that Arthur served in the Royal Navy during the war, and was instrumental in repatriating his brother Walter from a Japanese POW Camp at the end of the war. Does anyone remember Nellie Jebb? she had 3 sons and was widowed and married widow Alfred Hill around 1945. Nellie had a dress shop in Market Street, Droylsden, and they lived in the premises above the shop. I think Nellie died around 1992. I am looking for information regarding the ancestors and descendents of William Frederick and Hannah (Taylor) Bray. They were my great great grandparents. Per the 1881 British Census, William and Hannah lived at 192 Market Street in Droylsden with their six children. William(39) was a tinplate worker. Hannah(40) was a confectioner. Their children were: Mary(17), Sarah E.(16), Sarah J.(14), Squire(my great grandfather, was 12 years of age), Alexander(8), John(8) and George(8 months). The girls were listed as cotton weavers. William was born in Manchester and Hannah Taylor, his wife, was born in Droylsden. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
