red mail Brindle
I'm searching for Ann who married George Clayton and lived in Brindle from the age of about 16 until her death in 1778. George was a local man. I can find no evidence of their marriage nor of her maiden name but she was confirmed at St Joseph's RC Church in 1742 about the same time as the baptism of their first child, Mary. Her daughter, Margaret married Charles Sherrington in Brindle in 1770. Their daughter,Mary, married John Briggs in Blackburn in 1788. There appears to be a connection with colonial America but unless I can find her maiden name,I've come to a full stop. If you can help, I'd be very grateful.
red mail John Waring chr. 1797 Brindle
Seeking info for 2nd great grandmother Esther Waring b. 1830 in Liverpool. Parents were John Waring chr. in Brindle 1797 and Ellen (poss. Camm, Ainscough, or Slater??) John had a brother Thomas chr. 1799. Their parents were John Waring chr. 1767 in Brindle and Ann Hartley m. 1792 Walton le Dale. This John's father believed to be David chr. 1724 in Brindle and was the son of Peter Waring. (David MAY have had a brother Peter b. abt. 1710?) Their father Peter Chr. 1690 in Walton-on-the-Hill (Walton le Dale?) and his father believed to be James Waring b. abt 1658 either West Derby or Walton le Hill (Walton le Dale?)Would be interested in any info proving or disproving any of the above or any additional info on these families. John chr.1797 immigrated to the USA in 1843 with 5 of his children. Esther Waring married David Carr in Missouri in 1846 and they resided in Ava, Jackson County, Illinois. John's brother Thomas remained in Liverpool on Stanhope Street.
