red mail Thomas Hamilton & Helen Caldwell Marriage 12 Mar 1831 Gorbals.
These were my 3 great grandparents. The only children they had that are confirmed are my own ancestor Isabella Hamilton (December 1833) who's christened as Isabella Murdoc Hamilton after her maternal grandmother and her brother John (1832) whos confirmed through DNA matching. Isabella marries twice- once to a wealthy man of whom shes the servant and again as a widow to a Robert Joseph Mullins. Isabellas living off her inheritance at this time and her parents are listed as Thos Hamilton a baker who is dead and Helen Hamilton maiden name Caldwell. The problem is which Thomas Hamilton is he? There are four the right age roughly of which three have fathers called John like his first son but families didnt always stick to naming patterns so he could just as easily be Hugh and Marys son. If anyone has any advice that would be great thank you :).

Looking for Members of the Bonner Family
Ellen Friel (Aunt Nellie) and Frank BONNER (both deceased) had six children: James, Frank, John, Bernard, Catherine and Ellen. They lived on Tanfield Street in Glasgow. I know that James, John, Bernard, Catherine and Ellen are also deceased. I am hoping Frank is still living. I believe his wife's name is Elizabeth. I am an American cousin visiting Glasgow with many other cousins in May 2020 and we are looking to connect with the BONNER clan. James and Sadie BONNER lived in Girvan but I don't know if Sadie is still living there; I am also looking for Sadie. If you have any information about the BONNER family please respond; I will be most grateful.
red mail Lady Margaret HAMILTON
My great grandmother, Margaret, eloped from Scotland and married in 1869 under the name of MAGUIRE. The family believe this was her mother's maiden name. Margaret was "thrown out" of the clan due to her actions. There were, however, papers for her to claim her entitlements which she never did. Does anybody have information, since geneology record searches are not showing entries for her. She moved to Australia with her husband and children. Appreciate any help that is available, Megan.

Glasgow Burial
I am looking to see if anyone in Glasgow can find the grave of my 3rd great-grandfather, Thomas Wallace. He died at the Royal Infirmary in November 1872. I am not sure where he is buried. Could be up by the Infirmary or down in the Eastern Necropolis where the family lived off of Duke Street at the time. If anyone has a clue I will be coming to Glasgow and would love to find his grave.
Andrew Hall
I would like any information about the ancestors of Andrew Hall, who lived in Queen Anne's County, Maryland, U. S. A., serving first as a tobacco merchant, and later as a farmer. Another tobacco merchant, later farmer, named Jonathan Hall, lived in the same area, and may have been his brother. As a citizen of Maryland, he married Esther Brown in 1750 and died in 1765. He served as warden and later as vestryman at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, in Church Hill, Maryland. I have used Glasgow as a possible locale for his birth due to its prominence in the tobacco trade at the relevant time. However, the evidence is entirely circumstantial. And, unfortuately, dozens of Andrew Halls were born in Scotland during the likely period of his birth.

Finding Thomas Wallace, Royal Infirmary
I am looking for details about my 4th great grandfather, Thomas Wallace. Born in Ireland, Donegal I believe, he was in a terrible accident in 1872. My Thomas's accident was during this time. A carter, delivering goods, was careless at his duties and appeared in court while my grandfather dies along with a young girl injured with the same injuries. Was my grandfather a carter too at the time or another victim of this said Carter? I need to check the Royal Infirmary records and death records on him or the girl which may tie him into this accident? Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

red mail Johnston / Anderson mid 1800s parentage?
I've been told that a James Anderson, who certainly later moved to Wales and was a miner, lived somewhere in Glasgow in around 1865/6, when he married a Mary Johnston. The families may have been Roman Catholic, but I'm not at all sure. I've not been ably to find them on any 1871 census, but at least one child was born in Wales in 1867, a James Henry Anderson. He's the only child I know of. Now I know that searching for an Anderson in Scotland is ... a bit like looking for a Jones in Wales! Can anyone help with ideas for finding James and Henry's parents and families at about that time? I've no idea of their ages, either, sadly, and simply cannot find this pair on any census. (I even wonder if, as mining was such a hazardous occuptaion, James may not have lived very long? And Mary may have re-married, probably the most sensible option for security.) So it may be hopeless, but - any ideas?
