red mail Clellands Land, Auchinairn, Cadder
Looking for information regarding Clellands Land which I believe was a small farm at Auchinairn. For a few years between 1868 and 1875 it was home to Ann (THOMSON) and Robert HAMILTON; before then it was occupied by Ann's Thomson grandparents. Ann's mother was Catherine CARRUTHERS but she died when Ann was just 3 yrs (1836) and Ann was brought up on her Carruthers grandparents' farm at Lesserlim Lesmahagow.
