red mail Laurentius Noren - The Masons Arms Inn
My Great Great Grandfather Laurentius Noren was proprietor of the Masons Arms, High Street, Kirkcudbright in the 1880's. I think the pub was actually owned by his then wife Marion Knox. I'm desperately trying to find a photo of Laurentius who died in 1885. Does anyone have ANYTHING at all relating to Laurentius, even if its just an old picture of the pub. He was born in in Sweden in about 1843 and my 1st record of him is in Edinburgh in 1870 when he married his first wife. He then moved to Kirkcudbright because I found him in the 1881 census living in Castle Street, Westside. Any help would be much appreciated.

red mail Grame/Grahm/Graham/Todd/Tod/Lyon/Lion
Any info on Nathaniel Grame and Mary Lyon/Lion married on the second of June in 1789 (OPR). They were married at Kirkcudbright, Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland. Any information would be great. He was a mariner. Mary Graham (nee Lyon) had a shop on High Street. I have no info on Mary Lyon's parentage. Also their daughter Cairns Graham (strange first name?) married Samuel Todd in 1810, kirkcudbright. They were farmers. They died in 1858. Cairns' brother William was a mariner and lived with his neice Margaret Todd in Kirkcudbright, he died in 1873. All buried at St Cuthberts. Any grave photos would be greatly appreciated as I am on the other side of the world. Any other info to share would be wonderful. I am trying to find my Scottish roots.
