red mail Emma Pellett
Im looking for a record of my Great Grandmother, Emma Rye Pellett. She married George Spillett in Faversham in 1908. After his death at Jutland in HMS Chester, she move to Lancashire and married a Sidney Smith. After his death, she moved back south to Canterbury, where I believe she died in 1956. I am unable to find any entry for her previous to her marriage to Mr Spillett. Her father's name was Edward, but this still doesn't help. I have to asssume that Emma Rye is an assumed name, but still cant find her when I just search for Pelletts. I have both wedding certs, but to no avail. Does anyone have any info or ideas?

red mail Clark family - 1860's
30 Ospringe Rd Census Place Faversham, Kent, England 1881 census lists Charles Clark with his wife Harriettand children living here. Any info appreciated. Is the road still existing?
I am trying to determine the ancestry line for an Agnes COVENEY that was born in Ospringe, Kent. There seems to be two destinct people born in the same time period, both with a mother named Frances. The first Agnes was christened in 1832, the base born daughter of Frances who was christened in Wye, Kent in 1805. The second Agnes COVENEY was born about 1836 (1851 census) to Frances COVENEY, christened 1808 in Ospringe, daughter of Richard & Sarah COVENEY. The second Frances COVENEY went on to marry William ROOK in 1840 in Faversham District, Kent. My Agnes COVENEY went on to marry William ATTWATER in 1878 in Milton District, Kent. When Agnes died, she was registered as Agnes Frances ATTWATER. Her death entry has her age at 83 which would estimate her birth year as 1832. If you have COVENEY as a surname in your family and can sort out my dilemma, please contact me. Any help is greatly appreciated.
red mail Young Payne Ashdown Howe
Would be interested to know where info came from on James Young. I have a large database on the Youngs and Paynes. The 1881 census states James Young b Ospringe age 46 and Mary Ann b Eastling age 41 living in Borden.Their daughter Esther Ellen b1874 married James Payne b1872 in Eastling. They had a son James Henry Payne b1896 He married Rose Ashdown b 1900 Ulcombe She was the daughter of James Ashdown b1861 Marden and Maria Howe b 1863 Ulcombe. In the 1901 census my grandfather James Henry is living with James and mary Ann age 4 and shown as grandson. It may be that the two families were related as there were a lot of Paynes in Eastling but I have yet to find out where Mary Ann fits in. My Payne line beyond 1812 is a little patchy as I am having problems finding which child belonged to which Payne as there are so many Henry's and James's. I've also had problems locating the maiden names of some of their wifes.I would be interested in any info on this family.
