I have been unable to trace the birth record of Selina Benwell, born 1844 in North Mimms (according to the 1851 census). She is thought to be the daughter of Joseph Benwell and Betsey Webb (though they married in 1848). If anyone can throw any light on this problem, I would be grateful.
