Sarah Hobbs (1802-1886) married in 1823 Thomas Groom (1794-) Thomas was at times a tea dealer and a draper but I can find no evidence of this in directories only census records. I would very much like to know where he had premises if any! I am researching the Ryder surname from Bovingdon/Chorley Wood in Herts we think. Emily Ryder is my grandmother and was born in 1882. She was a school teacher. She had brothers named George,Charles and Thomas and sisters named Annie and Rose. Annie married and became a Cotterill. Can anyone shed some light on my family?
