red mail Jacksons of Barley
Seeking any information about whether any William Jacksons are buried in Barley. I've recently tracked the family to this location following some old census returns. In the late 1870's/early 1880's, my Jackson ancestors moved to London. I'm keen to find out what drew them here, and whether any other descendants are still in the Hertfordshire area. Further investigations show that my first known Jackson ancestor, Joseph Jackson (born abt 1798) originated from Essex (Little Chishill). If anyone can help, please let me know. Joseph married (about 1824) an Elizabeth Clarke (or Hale)if that helps at all and they had 6 children that I know of, all born in Barley, Herts.
