Does anyone know of the Dale family ? They lived in Newport road Cowes. My mother was Ceciia, uncles were Jack and Joe, there were others Elsie and Ted he ran the Britannia pub on Hunnyhil in Newport.

The 1901 census gives the household of William at 9 New Street, Newport, with his wife Minnie, daughters Minnie, Florence and Elsie, his Mother Jane, his brother Walter, his sister Ada, and George. I am looking for relatives or any information on behalf of George's grandaughter.

James Snudden and Jane Hart were my 4g grandparents born before 1750 and living in the IOW. Their son James, born about 1775 in Calbourne, married Hannah Dore in 1800. They had a daughter Sarah who married William Hillier Mew. I am interested in finding more about the Hart and Dore families.

Looking for any information on famiy of my great grandmother above.I know her dates of birth and death, her marriage to Frederick William Parsons and her subsequent children. I do not know when she was married or where, nor do I know anything of her parents or siblings. I believe she had three siblings + four half-siblings from her mother's second marriage. I have no idea where he was born or where the family were living until William Charles Harfield married Lily Amelia Hackett in 1912 in Newport, I.o.W., a daughter of Henry Hackett, saddler. They were my wife‘s grandparents. Henry Harfield was then a miller in Newport and gave his birthplace as Twyford, Hampshire. I am looking for information on the Harfield and Hackett families.

Looking for info on George TUCKER (b.1816) and brother William Alfred (m. Rhoda LAMBRETT also b. Newport). George had a son, Fred b.1858 but was widowed & living in Middlesex in 1881. William was a greengrocer on Croker Street Newport in 1845.William Alfred married Alice Large from Old Charlton, Kent and became a publican in S.E.
