Lymington in 1944
I am trying to find who lived at 20 New Street, Lymington in 1944. My husband, Lionel John Dennett, was born there but his mother did not actually live there. The 1939 Register shows only names for the houses not street numbers?? I have just gone in a circle of Hants archives to History Society and back to the archives with a couple of other stops on the way...and nobody seems to be able to help me except to say I should look at the 1945 electoral roll (first one after the war) and nobody is too sure where that is. Last suggestion was the museum and I have an email out to them but no reply.. I live in Canada. Does anyone have any ideas/can help me with this. Thanks. Lesley
