Dorrington/Lawther family - East Woodhay
My Great Grandfather Frederick Joseph Dorrington died in East Woodhay in 1944. He had married a local lady by the name of Ethel Lawther some 10 years previously but very little is known about them. He was a WW1 Veteran and served in No. 3 Platoon, Home Guard, East Woodhay during WW2. If anyone has any photos of the Home Guard I would also be very happy to hear from you! Thanks
