red mail Lancaster
My great great grandfather was Thomas Lancaster, born about 1826 in Brockenhurst. His wife was called Sarah, born about 1828 in Boldre or Lymington. I think his wife may be Sarah Keeping in which case they were married at Boldre in June 1846. They had 8 children: Thomas (my great grandfather born 1851), Henry, John, Lucy, James, William, Sarah and Charles. Thomas (the one born in 1851) was born in Croydon and our family has always been in South London - Herne Hill, Brixton, Camberwell, Streatham so very interested to find out about the Brockenhurst connection. One of my father's sisters Queenie Lancaster was born in Brockenhurst in 1910; I also believe there are Lancasters buried in the churchyard in Brockenhurst. Any information would be gratefully received.
