Jean Riddles was in Boscombe - Christchurch area 1945 - 1950. Going through some photo albums my sister gave me recently was a picture of Jean with a man named RALPH dated 1946. Does anyone know either of them? if so can you please get in touch with your story?

I am seeking ANY information about Peggy Beattie (married a Riddles), her daughter Jean Riddles and the association with 23 Knole Road, Boscombe, Bournmouth. Also what was 23 Knole Road????? I can not find information about it. Only a rumours that it was for unmarried mums or was an orphange or something?? is this so, does any one know????

Frank Lewis Smith
Frank Lewis Smith was living in Boscombe in 1938, aged about 57, retired surgeon, RN. He died in Westminster in 1942 leaving a wife Gertude Mary and a daughter Leslie Mary Lewis Smith. Any information on wife and daughter appreciated.

Researching the Franklin, Walden and Blachford families who arrived in Boscombe in the 1870s and were involved in its building and development, particularly in the Southcote Rd, Windham Rd, Tower Rd area. Franklin family owned the Portman Hotel in Ashley Road. Is anyone else interested in these ancestors of mine?
