Any info on the Wilkins family of Lower Slaughter, especially William (born 1731, married Margaret Bunting), John (born 1775, married Hannah Price, daughter of Jonathan Price & Jane Harris ) and their son William Wilkins, born 1801, who was a farmer and butcher. Other Wilkins had the mill in Slaughter and they were prominent Baptists helping to build the chapel in Bourton on the Water.

Looking for any info on the Watts/Watsson families of the Slaughters, Richard Watts marr Anne Smith at Naunton on the 29th Jun 1782, all but two of his children were born in Slaughter. My wife descends from Samuel Watts/Wattson who was bp in upper slaughter in 1788, I believe he marr Hannah Midwinter in 1822 at Lower slaughter, any info Greatly appreciated. Gary.

Tracing the Day family of Lower Slaughter. Thomas and Annie(Wilsdon)Day and their family. Daughter Cicely Minnie was postmistress there until her death in 1954. Many family buried in churchyard there.
My Viveashes came from Wilts to Glos in abt 1900. Oriel was buried in Lower Slaughter in 1917.
