red mail Dorman
After several years of searching, I have drawn a blank with trying to join my Surname with Longborough. According to the 1851 Census, William Dorman was an Agricultural Engineer Living in Aston, Warwickshire. However, he has listed his place of birth as Longbrook. Taking into consideration the accent of the time, it appears that the place of birth is actually Longborough, but as yet, I have been unable to substantiate this with actual facts. I have tried to contact the Family History society of Longborough but no one replies to my emails. Has anyone got any more information that they can push in my direction please? Thanks Andy
