red mail Faulkner family
My great grandparents moved to Clifford on their marriage in 1876. Looking to find what happened to their eldest son Albert, he was living in Stratford, married to Rose and had children Lilian, Winifred and William before 1901. My father tells me that a son was drowned falling into the canal.
red mail John Wyatt
Looking for descendents of John Wyatt, a farmer who lived in Clifford Chambers in the early 1800's. John's son William was born there in 1809.
red mail Spilbury's - Wheelwrights Of Clifford Chambers
I am researching the Spilsbury family who were Wheelwrights in this village from about the late 18th Century to late 19th century. I understand they also had an Inn called Spilsbury's. Families they married into include Blick, Wheeler, Randall, Chandlier, Jones, Mumford, Richards. I would particularly like to know whether the Inn called Spilsburys is a previous name for the present "New Inn" or if not where it was located.
