I have a Kate Midwinter. She was my great grandmother's sister (Clara I believe). She married 'uncle Mid'. I have photos of Kate and Clara as well as photos of Uncle Mid at several different ages in the Harvey family album. My great grandfather (Walter Harvey) also worked at W.H. SARAH PURVEY HOPKINS is the name on the certificate dated June 8th 1783 when she married FRANCIS WILDING at St Stephens, Bristol. It appears as tho' they may have lived in Westbury on Trym, Glouc after that. Advice needed whether I should be researching PURVEY or HOPKINS?

Any info on THOMAS BAYNHAM born Abt 1760 married ELIZABETH HILL August 3rd 1789, St James, Bristol. They had daughters ANN and HESTER baptised in St Augustine 1794 and 1801 respectively. These sisters married brothers WILLIAM and ROBERT SMITH - 1819and 1822 - in St James, Bristol.

I am looking for any information on Robert Park who married Elizabeth McCashin in St Phillip& St Jacob in 1828. The couple had a son Richard Park in 1829, born in St Phillip and St Jacob. Is this Richard the same one who married Mary Narey and had a son, alos Richard, in St Phillip and St Jacob in 1849.

Elizabeth Cobley, born 11 May 1832 worked as a shuttle winder while living in the area of SS Philip and Jacob in 1851. She was lodging in the house of her Brother in law William Pavey, a waterman, and sister Grace. I would be interested to know anything regarding the location of factories in the area at that time.
