I have a little info on the Crote's if anyone interested. I'm trying to find details of the coal mining accident in which Harry Crote died in 1912.

My interest is in Bream,and all areas around in West Dean.In the last 120 years or so the name spelling is usually Hoare,but previously Hore,Whore Hoar Woore etc.! The earliest entry I have is Hore in Hereford 1734, then south into the English Bicknor area

I am looking for information on Minnie Violetta Morse born c 1882 in Bream, daughter of Edmund Morse and Theophilia Whetson. Minnie married Charles William Morse in 1889 at Goosnargh Church, Lancashire where they were both hospital attendants. In 1901 census they are licencees of the Rising Sun Inn, Bream along with their niece Dulcie Morse aged 12, born in Yorkley. Under civil registration I cannot find Minnie's death nor can I find a birth for Dulcie in 1889. Dulcie also appears in the 1901 census at Whittingham Asylum nr Preston aged 2 as niece of Minnie's brother, John Wheatstone Morse but her parentage is a mystery.

Looking for any available info on Dianh, Mary or Carmalla Morgan of Bream's (Woodside). Dianh was born approx. 1789, was deaf and married to William Iassac Morgan at St. James, Bream. Daughter Mary was born approx. 1818, christened at St. James, Bream's and was a shop keeper. Died Oct.1869, buried St. James, Bream. G-G-Grandmother Carmalla (father unknown) christened at St James, Bream. Married John Fletcher 1864, emmigrated to USA in 1871. Any help greatfully accepted.

Can anyone identify the family of Clara Matilda Morgan. Parents thought to be Henry & Mary. She was baptised in St James, Bream on 11th August 1861. Henry & Mary had - Ann : Thomas : John : Emma : Henry : Mary : and Sarah (census 1881) Clara's name does not appear. She had moved to Bristol as a servant,and married there in 1881 so I cannot confirm that this WAS her family.

I am searching for John Jenkins born approx 1833 to James and Susan. I have his birth as 1833 but with the census's his age changes by about 5 years what I would like to find is his marriage and birth of Bertha and John.I am afraid that my record of John being the son of James is now in doubt as after looking at the 1861 census John and his wife Emma who does have a Bertha and John(born in Bream) appears to have been born in Yorkley can anyone help please.
Jenkins Richard
Richard Jenkins of Bream married Bertha Evans of St Briavels 10 June 1888. Ten years later they moved to Seaton Sluice.They had 6 known children, Minniec1889, John c1892, Richard C1893, Rose c1896, Hilda c 1899 all born in St Briavels and Thomas C 1901 born in Seaton Sluice. If any one know of these peaple I have information to share
