red mail Edwin and David T Williamsn
My grandmother, Jenny Jones as she was then who, as a young girl, was working in service on Ffrwd Farm in Maesycymmer. She was friendly with both of the Williams' brothers and in particular with Dai! I have some letters and poems sent to her by both young men and am about to go on holiday to France and Belgium. I have located both of them as they both died in the war. I will go to visit both and tell them about Jenny and about how her life turned out. If there are any relatives of the Williams brothers, whose parents' names were David and Caroline, of 9 School Street, then please get in touch. Regards. Jinny's (as I knew her) grand-daughter.

My father, Harold Hillier, born in Clutton, Somerset, in 1898, often spoke of relations (probably cousins) in Llanbradach. They might well have been miners who moved to Llanbradach when the Clutton pits closed. If there are any there who might be related, I'd love to hear from you.
Please can anyone help with info on the Butler family from LLanbradach? My mother was Emily Butler and her parents were Reginald and Elizabeth (Williams). Although I have info on my mother's siblings, I do not have any info on Reg or Elizabeth's parents. I believe that Reg's father was married twice and that his second wife was called Rebecca. Does anyone know anything about the family? Elizabeth's brother had a daughter called Peggy and there was some link with the family Mapps. I would be grateful for any help in tracing my great grandparents.
