The family said that because his step mother was so near his own age he went to live in Llecryd Cardiganshire. He married Catherine Williams and on 1911 census they are living in Fishguard Pembrokeshire with 2 children who sadly died. There were 2 more children Arthur and Francis Mary (Mair). By 1917 the family were living in Cardigan Cardiganshire and Evan diesd there in 1950. When he visited family in Barry in the 1940s he went to see family in Merthyr Dyfan just outside Barry. Searching for information on Emily Thomas, ( born Emily Brown,in Maesteg) living in 18 Charlotte Place, Barry in 1904. She had a daughter, Elsie May, born February 1904 . Father described as David Thomas 'dock labourer'. The last information we had was of Emily recorded in 1901census, living in Nantyffyllon, married to an Isaac Thomas, miner, where they had three children, George, William and Margaret Mary. No information of Emily, Elsie May or Isaac/David or Margaret in 1911 census, but both George and William are recorded. Later family information records Emily and Elsie living in Nantyffyllon with George in 1920s.No information regarding Emily's husband.
